This research aims to (1) determine and analyze the influence of quality of work life on employee job satisfaction at the Banjarmasin City Public Works and Spatial Planning Service; (2) determine and analyze the influence of work motivation on employee job satisfaction at the Banjarmasin City Public Works and Spatial Planning Service; (3) determine and analyze the influence of quality of work life and work motivation on employee job satisfaction at the Banjarmasin City Public Works and Spatial Planning Service.
This type of research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques using questionnaires. The respondents for this research were 72 civil servants from the Banjarmasin City Public Works and Spatial Planning Service. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique. The data was processed using multiple linear regression with the SPSS program application.
The results of this research prove a direct influence between quality of life and work motivation on employee job satisfaction. Based on the results of the t test, it shows that quality of work life has no effect on job satisfaction, while the work motivation variable has a partial effect on job satisfaction. Simultaneously, quality work life and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at the Banjarmasin City Public Works and Spatial Planning Service.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh quality of work life terhadap job satisfaction pegawai pada Dinas Pekerja Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Banjarmasin; (2) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh work motivation terhadap job satisfaction pegawai pada Dinas Pekerja Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Banjarmasin; (3) mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh quality of work life dan work motivation terhadap job satisfaction pegawai pada Dinas Pekerja Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Banjarmasin.
Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 72 orang pegawai negeri sipil Dinas Pekerja Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Banjarmasin. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling total. Data diolah dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan aplikasi program SPSS.
Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan pengaruh langsung antara quality of life dan work motivation terhadap job satisfaction pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa quality of work life tidak berpengaruh terhadap job Satisfaction sedangkan variabel work motivation berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap job satisfaction. Secara simultan quality work life dan work motivation berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap job satisfaction pada Dinas Pekerja Umum dan Penataan Ruang Kota Banjarmasin.
