TEACHERS AND LECTURERS WHO ARE BILINGUAL OR MULTILINGUAL CAN USE CODE-SWITCHING FOR A NUMBER OF REASONS, BASED ON THEIR NEEDS, INTERESTS, AND PROFICIENCY LEVELS. THIS STUDY AIMS TO ESTABLISH THE CODE-SWITCHING TYPES AND THEIR FUNCTIONIN FACILITATING CLASSROOM IN TEACHING AND LEARNING FOR EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS. THE METHOD USED FOR THIS RESEARCH IS THE SLR APPROACH. OF THESE ELEMENTS, TAG SWITCHING IS THE MOST PREVALENT TYPE OF CODE-SWITCHING. BUT THERE ARE OTHER ARTICLES THAT USE THE SAME FORMAT AND TYPE OF CODE CONVERSION. THE ELLIPSIS (TAG SWITCHING, AFFECTIVE FUNCTIONS, AND REPETITIVE FUNCTIONS) ALL USE THE SAME CODE THAT MODIFIES THE FUNCTION.
