PERANAN KEBERSYUKURAN TERHADAP FEAR OF MISSING OUT (FOMO) PADA PENGGEMAR K-POP DEWASA AWAL DI INDONESIA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan antara kebersyukuran dan Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) pada penggemar K-Pop dewasa awal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu non-probability sampling. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dengan kriteria penggemar K-Pop dewasa awal berusia 18-25 tahun sebanyak 264 orang. Data penelitian kebersyukuran diukur menggunakan skala kebersyukuran versi Indonesia dan FoMO diukur dengan Fear of Missing Out Scale. Hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan terdapat peranan negatif antara kebersyukuran terhadap FoMO pada penggemar K-Pop dewasa awal sebesar 5%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat kebersyukuran seseorang maka semakin rendah FoMO yang terjalin, dan sebaliknya.

THE ROLE OF GRATITUDE IN FEAR OF MISSING OUT (FOMO) AMONG K-POP FANS IN EARLY ADULTHOOD IN INDONESIA

This study aims to investigate the role of gratitude in Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) among K-Pop fans in early adulthood. The study method was a quantitative method with non-probability sampling. The sampling technique was the purposive sampling with the criteria including being K-Pop fans in their early adulthood aged 18-25 years. The participants were 264 people. Data on gratitude were measured using the Indonesian version of the gratitude scale, while data on Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) were measured using the Fear of Missing Out Scale. The results of a simple linear regression analysis showed that there was a negative role of gratitude in FoMO among early adult K-Pop fans by 5%. This shows that the higher the level of gratitude, the lower the Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), and vice versa.
