Desa Melayu merupakan dikenal karena kentalnya agama Islam. Namun faktanya tidak ada masjid

sebagai wadah pembinaan umat. Masjid yang juga berperasn sebagai wadah pembinaan umat

sangatlah penting, karena hal ini akan menjaga agama Islam dalam jangka yang sangat lama.

Masjid yang akan dibangun adalah Masjid Jami. Melalui konsep Arsitektur Islam perancangan

masjid akan memfokuskan pada Hablum Minallah, Hablum Minannas, dan Hablum Minal’alam,

dan menerapkan metode Sense of Place dengan menekankan pada esensi dari masjid agar

langsung bisa dirasakan oleh jamaah sehingga membuat nyaman dan tenang dalam beribadah.

Masjid sebagai tempat utama dan akan didukung oleh bangunan lainnya dan pola tata kawasan

dari Masjid Jami.

Melayu Village is known for its strong Islamic religion. However, in fact there is no mosque as a place

for fostering the people. A mosque that also plays a role as a place for fostering the people is very

important, because it will maintain the Islamic religion in the very long term. The mosque that will

be built is the Jami Mosque. Through the concept of Islamic Architecture, the design of the mosque

will focus on Hablum Minallah, Hablum Minannas, and Hablum Minal'alam, and apply the Sense of

Place method by emphasizing the essence of the mosque so that it can be directly felt by the

congregation so that it makes it comfortable and calm in worship. The mosque as the main place and

will be supported by other buildings and the regional layout pattern of the Jami Mosque.
