ABSTRAK
Riza Apqari, 2110411310047, 2025, Analisis Dampak Sosial-Ekonomi Pengoperasian Bus Trans BTS (Buy The Service) Banjarbakula Terhadap Keberlanjutan Angkutan Umum Konvensional dan Mobilitas Masyarakat, Dibawah Bimbingan Avela Dewi.
Sistem transportasi publik memegang peranan penting dalam menunjang aktivitas masyarakat di wilayah perkotaan, baik dari segi efisiensi mobilitas, penghematan waktu dan biaya, hingga keberlanjutan lingkungan. Di Kalimantan Selatan, pemerintah menghadirkan Bus Trans BTS (Buy The Service) Banjarbakula sebagai bentuk modernisasi transportasi massal yang lebih terstruktur, efisien, dan ramah lingkungan. Namun di balik inovasi ini, muncul tantangan besar bagi angkutan umum konvensional seperti angkot dan taksi yang mulai kehilangan pangsa pasar akibat perubahan preferensi masyarakat. Hal ini menjadi latar belakang penting bagi penelitian ini, yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak sosial dan ekonomi dari pengoperasian BTS terhadap keberlanjutan angkutan umum konvensional serta mobilitas masyarakat di wilayah Banjarbaru–Martapura.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dengan sopir angkutan lama, pengguna BTS, dan pihak Dinas Perhubungan, serta dokumentasi pendukung. Data dianalisis dengan model interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran BTS membawa dampak ekonomi berupa penurunan pendapatan sopir angkutan konvensional, namun juga menciptakan peluang ekonomi baru melalui pengembangan infrastruktur dan sistem layanan digital. Dari sisi sosial, BTS dinilai meningkatkan kenyamanan, aksesibilitas, dan keamanan transportasi publik, namun juga menimbulkan keresahan dan ketidakpastian di kalangan pengemudi lama. Secara lingkungan, BTS memberikan dampak positif berupa penurunan emisi dan berkurangnya kepadatan lalu lintas.
Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pemerintah tidak hanya fokus pada modernisasi transportasi, tetapi juga memperhatikan keberlangsungan hidup para pelaku transportasi lama melalui integrasi layanan, pemberdayaan, dan skema kompensasi yang adil. Dengan demikian, sistem transportasi yang terbentuk dapat lebih inklusif, adil, dan berkelanjutan bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat.

Riza Apqari, 2110411310047, 2025, Analysis of the Socio-Economic Impact of the Operation of the Banjarbakula Trans BTS (Buy The Service) Bus on the Sustainability of Conventional Public Transportation and Community Mobility, Under the Guidance of Avela Dewi.
Public transportation systems play a crucial role in supporting urban activities by improving mobility, saving time and costs, and promoting environmental sustainability. In South Kalimantan, the government introduced the Banjarbakula Trans BTS (Buy The Service) as a step toward modernizing mass transit systems with more structured, efficient, and eco-friendly services. However, the emergence of BTS has posed significant challenges to conventional public transport operators such as minibuses and taxis, who are losing passengers as public preferences shift. This research aims to analyze the socio-economic impacts of BTS operations on the sustainability of traditional transport services and community mobility in the Banjarbaru–Martapura corridor.
The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with conventional drivers, BTS users, and transportation officials, along with supporting documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing.
Findings reveal that BTS has negatively affected the income of conventional drivers, while also generating new economic opportunities through infrastructure development and digital-based services. Socially, BTS improves comfort, accessibility, and safety for users, but creates anxiety and uncertainty among traditional drivers. Environmentally, the service contributes positively by reducing vehicle emissions and traffic congestion.
This research recommends that the government not only focus on transport modernization but also ensure the welfare of conventional operators through service integration, empowerment programs, and fair compensation schemes. In doing so, the transportation system can become more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable for all stakeholders.
