ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha Tempat

Pemotongan Unggas (TPU) Pak Nasir di Kecamatan Pulau Laut Sigam, Kabupaten

Kotabaru, dengan pendekatan finansial dan non-finansial. Total biaya operasional

per bulan mencapai Rp837.401.388 yang terdiri dari biaya tetap dan variabel,

sedangkan penerimaan bruto sebesar Rp1.386.000.000 menghasilkan laba bersih

Rp548.598.611. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai R/C Ratio sebesar 1,66 dan Break

Even Point (BEP) sebesar 29.907 ekor ayam per bulan dengan harga BEP

Rp25.376/kg, yang berada di bawah realisasi aktual. Analisis sensitivitas terhadap

fluktuasi harga jual menunjukkan bahwa usaha tetap menguntungkan meskipun

terjadi penurunan harga hingga 10%. Selain aspek finansial, usaha ini juga

memenuhi kriteria teknis, pasar, hukum, sosial, dan lingkungan. Dengan demikian,

usaha TPU ini dinilai layak dan memiliki prospek pengembangan yang baik.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to assess the feasibility of the poultry slaughterhouse

(TPU) owned by Pak Nasir in Pulau Laut Sigam District, Kotabaru Regency,

using both financial and non financial approaches. The total monthly operational

cost reaches Rp837,401,388, consisting of fixed and variable costs, while the

gross revenue amounts to Rp1,386,000,000, resulting in a net profit of

Rp548,598,611. The analysis shows a Revenue/Cost (R/C) Ratio of 1.66 and a

Break Even Point (BEP) of 29,907 chickens per month with a break-even price of

Rp25,376/kg, both below the actual figures. Sensitivity analysis of price

fluctuations indicates the business remains profitable even with a 10% decrease in

selling price. In addition to financial viability, the business also meets technical,

market, legal, social, and environmental aspects. Therefore, this poultry

slaughterhouse is considered feasible and has promising development prospects.
