Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) serta integrasi kearifan lokal Banjar dalam pembelajaran ekonomi untuk meningkatkan relevansi kurikulum dan keterlibatan murid. Namun, pembelajaran masih menghadapi kendala seperti terbatasnya penggunaan media berbasis teknologi inovatif dan belum terintegrasinya kearifan lokal secara terstruktur, sehingga pembelajaran kurang menarik dan murid cenderung pasif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan media pembelajaran inovatif yang memadukan teknologi dan budaya lokal guna mendorong keaktifan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengembangkan media video generatif berbasis Canva AI berkearifan lokal Banjar; (2) menguji validitas media oleh ahli materi dan media; (3) mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan berdasarkan respon guru dan murid. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Subjek penelitian adalah murid kelas X MAN 2 Banjarmasin, dengan instrumen berupa lembar validasi ahli dan angket respon kepraktisan. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan media yang dikembangkan termasuk kategori sangat valid dengan persentase ≥85%, serta sangat praktis berdasarkan respon guru dan murid yang juga mencapai ≥85%. Hal ini menandakan media layak digunakan. Kesimpulannya, media Canva AI Video Generatif berkearifan lokal Banjar dapat digunakan sebagai inovasi pembelajaran yang kontekstual. Implikasinya, penelitian ini masih terbatas pada validitas dan kepraktisan, sehingga penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan menguji efektivitas media dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar.

This study is motivated by the importance of utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and integrating Banjar local wisdom into economics learning to enhance curriculum relevance and student engagement. However, the learning process still faces challenges, such as limited use of innovative technology-based media and the lack of structured integration of local wisdom, resulting in less engaging instruction and passive students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop innovative learning media that combine technology and local culture to encourage active participation. The objectives of this study are: (1) to develop generative video learning media based on Canva AI incorporating Banjar local wisdom; (2) to examine the validity of the media through material and media experts; and (3) to determine its practicality based on teachers’ and students’ responses. This study employs a Research and Development method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects are tenth-grade students of MAN 2 Banjarmasin, with instruments consisting of expert validation sheets and practicality response questionnaires. Data are analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results indicate that the developed media is categorized as highly valid, with validation percentages ≥85%, and highly practical, as reflected in teachers’ and students’ responses reaching ≥85%. This suggests that the media is feasible for use. In conclusion, the Canva AI generative video media based on Banjar local wisdom is suitable as a contextual learning innovation. The implication is that this study is still limited to validity and practicality aspects; therefore, future research is expected to examine the effectiveness of the media in improving learning outcomes.
