This study aims to describe students’ ball throwing and catching abilities after participating in a modified basketball game. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a one-shot pre-experimental case study design. This pre-experimental study was conducted on a single group and did not involve a control group. The sample in this study consisted of 28 sixth grade students from Class 6 C at Cindai Alus 2 Public Elementary School. The research instruments used in the posttest included throwing and catching tests, observations of throwing movements comprising preparation, execution, and follow through, as well as observations of attitudes, including cooperation, honesty, self confidence, respect, and discipline. Data analysis employed descriptive statistical techniques. The results of this study indicate that students’ throwing and catching skills, on average, fell into the “Enough” category following the implementation of the modified basketball game. Thus, these findings suggest that instruction using the modified basketball game is associated with students’ throwing and catching skills as well as their attitudes toward physical education activities.
