This study analyzes the English for Nusantara textbook for eighth-grade students, published in December 2022, which was designed in line with the Kurikulum Merdeka. The curriculum includes the Profil Pelajar Pancasila, which outlines six core character values: believe and fear to the Almighty God, and have noble character, global diversity, cooperation, independence, critical thinking, and creativity. This research aims at identifying how these values are represented in English for Nusantara.

A descriptive qualitative method was used, analyzing the textbook’s reading texts, dialogues, exercises, and visuals. The data were examined to identify both explicit and implicit representations of the six dimensions of Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Content analysis helped to interpret how these values are integrated into learning materials.

The results show that all six values are present, with religiousness, cooperation, and critical thinking appearing most frequently. These values are conveyed through stories, teamwork examples, and images promoting moral and environmental awareness. The textbook effectively supports language learning while fostering character development, aligning with the goals of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Future researchers could examine how these values are applied in classroom practice.
