Tingginya angka kecelakaan akibat kelalaian pengemudi truk di Kalimantan Selatan serta minimnya fasilitas pelatihan formal melatarbelakangi perancangan Pusat Pelatihan Pengemudi Truk Profesional di Kalimantan Selatan. Proyek ini bertujuan menyediakan fasilitas edukasi berstandar industri. Pendekatan Arsitektur Fungsional dan Everydayness Architecture digunakan guna mengoptimalkan efisiensi operasional kendaraan berat sekaligus mereplikasi pengalaman ruang keseharian (habitus) pengemudi. Hasil perancangan difokuskan pada tata massa yang responsif terhadap topografi tapak, pemisahan sirkulasi zona pelayanan dan operasional, serta optimalisasi ruang komunal. Bentuk bangunan, menara pengawas, fasilitas simulasi on-road dan off-road, hingga sistem utilitas air terintegrasi dirancang secara presisi untuk mendukung kelancaran manuver dan pengawasan menyeluruh. Kehadiran fasilitas ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi pengemudi dan menekan tingkat kecelakaan lalu lintas.

The high rate of accidents caused by truck drivers' negligence in South Kalimantan and the lack of formal training facilities underlie the design of the Professional Truck Driver Training Center in Banjarbaru City. This project aims to provide industry-standard educational facilities. The Functional Architecture and Everydayness Architecture approaches are used to optimize the operational efficiency of heavy vehicles while replicating the drivers' daily spatial experiences (habitus). The design results focus on massing arrangements responsive to the site's topography, separation of service and operational zone circulation, and optimization of communal spaces. Building forms, the observation tower, on-road and off-road simulation facilities, and an integrated water utility system are designed precisely to support smooth maneuvers and comprehensive surveillance. The presence of this facility is expected to improve driver competency and reduce traffic accident rates.
