The problem in this study is the low activity of students, listening skills, critical thinking, and collaboration in Grade 5 students at SDN Telaga Biru 8 Banjarmasin. The causes of this problem are low student activity and teacher-centered learning; students are not yet accustomed to understanding, processing, and delivering information, as well as students not being used to participating in groups. Efforts to overcome this problem are through the implementation of the SOLID learning model. This study aims to describe and analyze the activities of teachers and students, analyze the improvement of listening skills, critical thinking, collaboration, as well as learning outcomes.

This study uses a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) type conducted in three meetings. The research subjects were fifth-grade students of SDN Telaga Biru 8, totaling 23 students. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and written tests. The data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively based on the results of observations and learning evaluations presented in tables and graphs, interpreted using criteria for each indicator of teacher activity, student activity, listening skills, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills, as well as the achievement of student learning outcomes both individually and collectively.

The research results show an improvement in all aspects that were studied. Teacher activity improved in the third session, reaching a score of 22 with a “very good” rating. Student activity increased in the third session, reaching 86% overall. Listening skills improved in the third session, reaching 91% overall. Critical thinking skills increased in the third session, reaching 95% overall. Collaboration skills also improved in the third session, reaching 95% overall. These improvements also affected learning outcomes, with mastery of the cognitive aspect increasing in the third session to 95%, the affective aspect increasing in the third session to 91%, and the psychomotor aspect increasing in the third session to 95%.

Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the SOLID learning model can enhance student activity, listening skills, critical thinking, collaboration, and learning outcomes. In addition, this model can be used as one of the reference models to improve student activity, listening skills, critical thinking, collaboration, and student learning outcomes.
