The problem addressed in this study was the low level of students’ listening, critical thinking, and collaboration skills in Indonesian language learning. This issue was caused by a teacher-centered learning process that limited student participation, insufficient use of technology as learning media, and low student interest and motivation during classroom activities. These conditions had a negative impact on students’ learning outcomes. To overcome these problems, the researcher implemented the BEBAS learning model combined with Wordwall media. The objectives of this study were to describe teacher activities, analyze student activities, evaluate students’ listening, critical thinking, and collaboration skills, and examine their learning outcomes.

This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative approach and was conducted in two cycles consisting of four meetings. The participants were 16 third-grade students of SDN Sepakat Bersama during the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. Both qualitative and quantitative data were collected. Qualitative data were obtained through observations of teacher activities, student activities, and students' listening skills, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Quantitative data were obtained from the classical percentages of teacher activities, student activities, listening skills, critical thinking, collaboration skills, and students' learning outcomes based on group and individual tests. The data were analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of descriptions, tables, and graphs.

The findings revealed that teacher activities improved and reached a score of 24 at the fourth meeting, which was categorized as Very Good. Students learning activities increased to 100% at the fourth meeting on a classical basis. Likewise, students listening skills, critical thinking skills, and collaboration skills each reached 100% at the fourth meeting. These improvements also contributed to students learning outcomes, which achieved 100% classical mastery at the fourth meeting.

Based on the results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the BEBAS model and Wordwall media effectively improved teacher activities, student activities, listening skills, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills, and students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, teachers, school principals, and future researchers are encouraged to consider this model and media as an alternative strategy to enhance the quality of learning.
